For several decades, companies have heavily relied on traditional in-person work models, until now. Due to the expansion of numerous types of companies, the concept of remote workspace is no longer unfamiliar. This concept exists due to improving technology, the use of applications and social tools that contact employees virtually. Flexi work models existed before the pandemic but post 2020 these structures became more normalised in the workplace. Remote work management becomes more manageable through continuous changing of physical spaces, organisation of work tools and enhancing capabilities of human resources.

There has been a trend which involves expansion of the digital environment. Technology is used by entrepreneurs in narrowing down the limitations associated with being remote and not interacting with in-person teams. Slack, Zoom and Asana have paved the way for communication and specific project management but startups are developing AI boards that manage collaboration and productivity levels while motivating employees.
Another key component is the attention directed to the issue of balance between life and work. Work-life balance is not only a fantasy, they are grounded in the organisational culture because they command and put emphasis into it. People work virtually around the globe, cultures merge and remote and asynchronous working hours accommodate everyone.

A hybrid model has also been stated to be the best approach. This is a model that caters for the inclusion of both remote and in office work. Many are actively finding optimum office hours and average office liability for resource allocation.
